At MedSplain, we are committed to protecting your data and privacy while ensuring transparent access to the information you have shared with us.
To request a copy of your personal data, please login to the MedSplain app. From there, go to My MedFile and select “Data” from the list in MedFile settings. From this window, you can securely request a copy of your data. The details you will receive about your data is generally accessible to you within the MedSplain app, and may vary based on your usage of MedSplain.
If you have chosen to delete your MedSplain account, you will not be able to access the Request My Data feature located within the app, as your account no longer exists on MedSplain. Following account deletion, your data will be disposed of in accordance with our privacy policy
To clear your personal data, please login to the MedSplain app. From there, go to My MedFile and select “Data” from the list in MedFile settings. From this window, you can select the toggle to “Clear all data”. This will purge your saved data, including search history, any saved items in MedStash, your profile settings and preferences.
You can decide whether to allow your search history to be saved by selecting “History” in MedSplanations section of the app. Move the toggle to the on or off position to enable or disable saving your search history. To clear any saved search history data, follow the steps outlined above to “Clear all data”.
